Further Details 

With a beautiful natural maple finish barrel and adjustable sound tone board with 5 grooves, the Natural provides a variety of sounds.  By moving the “O” ring washer from front to back, you can adjust for any desired sound.  In addition, there is a flexi-tube on the end of the call which allows you to further create multiple sounds for each groove. 

Starting with the First and Second grooves on the sound tone board, this will sound like a fawn bleat calling for its mother. These positions create a higher pitch sound with short exhales and quick grunts.  The first position has a slightly higher pitch than the second position. Also known as the `lost call,' this sound is a doe's way of locating other members of her family group when she's become separated from them.  Even a mature doe will come to this call looking for her young.   

The Third groove on the sound tone board imitates a 1½ to 2½ year old doe.  With the “O” ring in the third position, the sound is still a high pitch and you can change the sound by pulling out the flexi tube for a little deeper grunt sound. This sound will help get the deer’s attention and create curiosity!   

The Fourth groove on the sound tone board imitates a 1½ to 2½ year old buck.  This is the reason most hunters buy a grunt tube or call.  This is the sound a buck makes when calling to estrus does.  Try a short series of grunts and a little louder and deeper than the doe.  This will make other bucks think that there is another buck in their territory.  Normally used on public land or well-hunted areas where a lot of hunting pressure occurs. The Natural grunt deer call in this position sounds deeper and can be adjusted by pulling out on the flexi-tube for more of a deeper sound.

 The Fifth groove on the sound tone board creates a sound like a 3 to 5 year old mature buck.  Short and hard grunts indicate an aggressive or challenging buck in the area.  Much deeper in sound and best used on private land or throughout the mid-West or Western states where the deer live to be a little older.  This is for a big or mature buck looking for a fight or to gather up the doe!
